Designed and developed to provide unprecedented entry height in any car for wheelchairs on the market, the Colorado’s low floor conversion, provides the most headroom of any converted VW Transporter, offering the driver and passengers 1397mm of headroom and an entry height of 1346mm.

Engine and drive
With the VW Transporter Colorado, you can choose from two engine options, the 2.0TDi 150bhp DSG and the 2.0TDi 199bhp DSG.

Driving Experience
You can choose whether to drive from your wheelchair or travel as an upfront wheelchair passenger. Should you need to take a break from driving there is no need to worry.
An interchangeable seat comes as standard with three rear seats. An additional wheelchair lockdown would need to be installed in the passenger position at an additional cost.
With three seats in the rear the Colorado car for wheelchairs offer space for five people. The Colorado features the unique ‘GM Low Floor Conversion’, optimising headroom. Access is achieved by a remote operated cassette underfloor lift mounted on the side of the vehicle.
