A vehicles windows decide how it feels from the inside. We supply and fit automotive-grade glass across every conversion that leaves our Mount Wellington workshop. Fixed, sliding and double-glazed windows cut to suit your van, bonded to factory standard, and finished so the join disappears.
A clear view from every seat
WHY IT MATTERS
A passenger travelling in their wheelchair sits at a different height to everyone else in the vehicle. If you get the window line wrong a two-hour trip becomes two hours of staring at the wall feeling car sick. Correct glazing is one of the simplest things that makes being in a vehicle an enjoyable experience.
And it’s not only about the view. The right glass keeps the cabin cooler in summer, takes the edge off road noise, and blocks the UV that fades upholstery and burns arms resting on a windowsill.
The Range
Three window types, all bonded or framed to suit the opening. Most conversions use a mix — fixed glass where you want the view, an opener where you want the air.
Fixed bonded
Flush-bonded straight to the body. No frame, no rattling, a very solid option.
Sliding Windows
Half or quarter opening on a sealed track, with a latch. Ventilation a seated passenger can reach and operate on their own.
Double glazed
Two panes and a sealed cavity. An upgrade worth making on camper vans and any vehicle that sits parked with people in it.
Safety glass
Heat-treated to several times the strength of ordinary glass, and it breaks into blunt granules rather than shards.

Bonded, not bolted
FITMENT
Every fixed window we do is urethane-bonded directly in place, the same way the factory glazes a windscreen. There’s no external frame collecting grime, no fixings to work loose over a few thousand kilometres, and nothing to whistle or rattle at high speeds.

Keeps the heat out
Tinted and double-glazed units cut solar gain, so the cabin isn’t an oven after twenty minutes in a car park, and the air conditioning isn’t fighting a losing battle.

Reduces road noise
Laminated and double-glazed options damp road and wind noise. Making for a much more comfortable experience for all passengers.

Blocks the UV
New Zealand sun is unforgiving. Every unit filters ultraviolet, protecting skin on long trips and stopping trim and upholstery fading out quickly.
Three different tints
FINISHES
Dark Grey Galaxy
The privacy option, and our most-requested. Near-opaque from outside in daylight, still an easy view out from the passenger seat.
Clear
Maximum light. The right call for vehicles carrying passengers who need to see out clearly, or where a driver needs full sightlines through side glass.
Green
The middle ground. Softens glare and warms the light without darkening the cabin — a common factory-matched choice on minibus conversions.
Tint on front side windows and the windscreen must comply with NZTA light-transmission rules. We’ll confirm what’s legal for your vehicle before anything is ordered.
